| Description | The most important international exhibition in the natural stone sector, a landmark for all producers and trade operators, will be held in Verona October 2nd - 5th, 2008. 2007 - Marmomacc is an increasingly international event and confirmed its role as the landmark show in the natural stone industry. The 42nd edition of the International Natural Stone and Technology Exhibition closed yesterday at VeronaFiere and posted impressive figures: international visitors were up by 6% compared to last year, totalling almost 26 thousand visits from 110 countries - setting an historic record for the show. Overall, professional operators totalled about 65 thousand (+4%), of which an impressive 43% international. Positive increases were also recorded for other event parameters: 1,510 exhibitors from 50 countries (+4% over 2006), of which half international, over a net area in excess of 76 thousand square metres (+5.5%). |

| Description | The NATURAL STONE 4th International Marble, Natural Stone Products & Technologies Fair brought the authorities of a sector which targets $2.5 billion in exports by 2010 together at CNR EXPO. 22,673 visitors passed through the turnstiles at this fair which had 537 exhibitors. 290 various products from various regions throughout Turkey were exhibited at Natural Stone, which encompassed 80,000 m². Turkey, a country which dazzles with natural beauty, attracts much attention for the fact that it holds 33% of the world’s natural stone reserves. Turkish natural stone representatives established constructive communications with foreign markets at the Natural Stone Fair, held between 06-09 September 2007.
